Happy New Year from Fire Starter Coffee! After a busy holiday season, followed by a lot of rest & recovery, we’re hitting the ground running with some big goals for 2026. 2025 was our first full year in business, and it was a massive learning experience. Here are a few highlights from the past year, and some goals for this one.
Highlights:
- Grew to having 4 different coffee products, including medium & dark roasts from Guatemala, Ethiopia, & Nicaragua.
- Added t-shirts, mugs, & hats!
- Built relationships with stores and coffee shops to sell & serve our coffee.
- Grew online sales through organic social media posts & videos.
- Met all kinds of new customers and learned about their different tastes.
- Did a farmers market every week in the summer/fall.
Goals for 2026:
- Add more coffee varieties from different origins.
- Make more online videos.
- Collaborate with like-minded influencers from a wide range of fields.
- Do more advertising online and at live events.
- Update the website with better images, videos, and descriptions.
Starting a business is a challenging but exciting thing. It’s hard to believe how much can happen in a year. At the same time, we haven’t come anywhere close to the full potential of this business. I’m hoping to continue learning, growing, and trying new things this year and onward.
